Howdy y'all Guess who bowled a turkey (3 strikes in a row) today while listening to "Let's Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas. Twas I. Thank you random Ukrainian bowling alley for playing "Let's Get It Started". Thank you will.i.am for producing quality content. As I'm sure it is obvious, I have much to be grateful for. I hope you had an awesome week! I know that we did out here in the promised land. We saw tons of miracles! I'll just hit the highlights: - Олег (Oleh) was ordained to the Aaronic priesthood yesterday, and it was awesome! He also got a calling, which is super hype! I love that guy! - Василь (Vasil) is all set for his baptism this weekend, it's going to be awesome! - Настія (Nastia) is reading the Book of Mormon every day and she loves it! We're hoping to set a baptismal date with her soon. - Артем (Artem) came to church, which was sweet! His work schedule is kind of сміття, so he can't come very often. Bu...

Heyo! There is not a Ukrainian equivalent to "heyo". It is kind of sad, but I will get over it eventually. We had a great week this week! I'll share some of the miracles we saw really quick: - Our man Андріан is on baptismal date now! We're so excited for him! - Василь has a new baptismal date, and we got permission to go all the way to him in the city Дрогобич to get this done! He's super excited, and we are super grateful to our mission president for him allowing us to do this. - We invited our friend Артем to be baptized, and he's praying about the decision right now. I will keep you tuned! - We found a new friend named Настія this week, and she is super cool! She just reached out to me on Facebook one day and was like "hey I want to learn about the Church of Jesus Christ!" She messaged the right guys haha. - Олег is preparing to receive the Aaronic priesthood pretty darn soon here, and we're super stoked for him! Please keep all these peo...

Calder Horsley Attachments Mon, Oct 11, 2021, 3:10 AM to me Howdy folks, I love you all so much! I hope you had an awesome week! We had a pretty STELLER week out here in the Soviet paradise. We have some friends who are progressing super well, and we taught some great lessons. God is working miracles out here in Lviv! - Our friend Артем is a stud and has been reading the Book of Mormon. We asked him how he thinks he can prepare for his meeting with God after this life, and he goes "well I need to have faith, repent, be baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost". It was super cool, and we're going to invite him to be baptized this coming week! - The absolute unit of a man Андріан is also just balling out with the Gospel. He comes to church every week, and he comes to all the ward activities too. He's super eager to learn more, and we're going to invite him to be baptized this coming week as well! - Our guy Василь was sadly not able to be baptized this w...

Heyo all y'all! As Elder Ward recently said to me "KEEP MAKING QUALITY CONTENT" I will attempt to live up to that once again Wish me luck. This week was super awesome! Elder Crane is a stud, and we're seriously finding out groove out here in Ukraine. We also had a lot of miracles with our new friend Андріан! We met him street contacting and then had a super powerful restoration lesson with him and them he proceeded to watch three sessions of conference with us. God is working miracles out here in Львів. Also, our friend Олег is set on be baptized this weekend, which is so good! If you read my emails a lot, you may remember that he was going to get baptized like, forever ago. Like when I was with Elder Fetzer. But alas, he felt like he wasn't ready. Now, he finally feels like he's ready, so we're going for it. We're really excited! Please keep him in your prayers! Conference was incredible, as always. Please go listen to it. It's literally w...

День Народження Мені Inbox -- (Birthday to me)

Hola, Que tal? Not sure if that was right. But it'll have to do. First and foremost, shout out to the Texas Dallas West gang. I've been missing y'all recently haha. Everyone who is going on a mission please pray that you will go to the Texas Dallas West Mission or Ukraine Kyiv/Moldova Mission. Or wherever the Lord needs you. That'd probably be better honestly. Thank you to everyone who sent some birthday love my way this week! I really appreciated all the messages I got, they made my week! I love and miss y'all! In other news, Elder Crane continues to be an absolute stud. I do indeed love that man. God continues to bless me with wonderful sons (trainees). The work progresses here in Ukraine! Олег and Василь are having their baptisms super soon, and I cannot wait! We have to change the date for both due to logistical issues, but at long last it's all coming together. I cannot wait! Please send up some extra prayers for the Lviv branch this week! Haha, t...

До побачення Старійшина Орлов -- (Goodbye Elder Orlov)

Image
Добрий день, To follow up on my last email, I have obtained yet another son. He is an absolute beast. His name is Elder Crane. I love him already. We also had a serious Rollercoaster of a week in regards to transfers. At first, it seemed that Elder Orlov would stay in Lviv. Then it seemed that he would go to Moldova. Then it seemed like he would stay. Then it seemed like he would go to Moldova. Then it seemed like it would stay. And as of today, we have found out that he is officially going to Moldova. So that's that. I'll let you know next week if he's going to go or not. All our friends are doing awesome, which is awesome, and it makes me feel awesome too. We also had a fun pday today because our district leader is in Lviv for exchanges with us tomorrow and I love him. His name is Старійшина Шнырёв, because he is from some random part of Ukraine. So he is a fun guy and I enjoy his presence and now we are friends which is cool. ALSO! We went to Дрогобич and saw ou...

Oh yeah I'm back And once again I shall be having a child (training a new missionary) Shout out to my firstborn Elder Gregerson you're a homie We found out our transfer news today, and I will be staying in Lviv, but now Elder Orlov and I will be split up both to train. We will remain the Zl's, so that will be fun (exchanges let's gooooo), and I will be getting a new missionary to train Friday. I'm so stoked! Training the first time was one of my favorite parts of my mission, and I'm super excited to do it again. We also found that out that we are going back to normal, which means NO MORE COVID RESTRICTIONS! That is a tender mercy. Church is just so much better in person. And also I like to street contact. Call me crazy, but it's hype. Also, the buzzed head experiment is going well. My Grandma Susan told me I look handsome so that means the hair is staying the way it is because it's her vote yes plus my vote yes, which automatically trumps anyone wh...
