Німеччина 🇩🇪 -- (Germany 🇩🇪)

Hello everyone! I know I haven't sent an email in a bit, but it's because the last bit has been insane haha! Leaving Ukraine, coming to Germany, and going to my area, and learning German has all been quite the ride. I've loved it though! I started out in a trio with Elders Simonson and Palmer, but with the recent transfer we just lost Elder Simonson. He's a legend, I will miss him. I'm staying with Elder Palmer though, which is epic! He's such a tank, we are having such a good time together and getting work done! He just finished his training, so we are having a fun time figuring out how to talk to people in German well. It's been wild 😂 I'm serving in an area called Offenbach, and it's so sick here. I love this place. Some highlight from the last two weeks: - Our friend Oleg only speaks to me in Russian and he is a tank. Love that guy. - We have a friend named Cynthya who is progressing super well! She's from Africa and she is so cool! - Our boy Hassan is balling out with reading the Book of Mormon. He asks so many good questions, and he speaks straight German so that's some good practice for me haha - This is the most diverse place I've ever been in my life, everyone is from everywhere and we meet people who speak a million different languages every day. - There is so much color here! It's awesome! It's also warmer than Ukraine, so that has been epic. - Please pray for the people in Ukraine! I miss them, but I know that God had them in mind. Please send a prayer up for them! 3 Nephi 18:11 And this shall ye always do to those who repent and are baptized in my name; and ye shall do it in remembrance of my blood, which I have shed for you, that ye may witness unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you. It really stuck out to me this week (and I don't know why this was only the first time I thought so much about this) that the key to having the Spirit with us is to remember Christ, but not just remember that He exists, but to remember Him in all that we do and say. When we do that, that is when we can always feel His love for us through the Holy Ghost! I love y'all so much! Also, I can longer use Facebook messenger in my new mission. Hey you guys! So apparently I say I will get better at emails and then I turns out I only save 10 minutes to write these emails. Sorry about it. This week is going to be a short email, but this week was pretty great! I'll just hit the highlights! - We have had some awesome member meals this week, which has been great! We got fed by the Gonzalez family on Sunday which was so good! They don't speak English though, so that was quite the experience. I said lo siento a lot. - IT'S NOVEMBER AND 78 DEGREES! I'm loving it. I'm missing the snow, but I'm loving the sun. Since I can't ski, I think I prefer the sun right now. - We found a bunch of new people we're really excited about this week. We're hoping that they keep progressing! We have a ton of meetings set up for this next week, so we're crossing our fingers that they don't fall through. - Our friend Klaus came to church! I Knocked My Tooth Out

Hey everyone! The title is completely factual. I was biking down a road pretty fast (because there is no reason to go slow on the Lord's errand) and I was thinking pretty deeply about a lesson we had that night. Next thing I know I was on the ground and missing a tooth. I got thwacked by a pole that had a box hanging of it in the middle of the sidewalk. Said pole had its metal box suspended directly at the head level of Elder Horsley. I'm all good though! I have some bruises, but it doesn't really hurt or anything. It just looks funny. It was absolutely epic. Then a guy ran across the street to "heal" me. He had a skull mask on and it was incredible. I'm all good now! There is no residual damage. Now for other highlights of the week! - Jeffrey is on date! We're so excited for him! He will be baptized at the end of May, so that's super exciting. - Freeman and Cornelius were both super stoked that the Law of Chastity was a thing, so that's always goo...

Hey Everyone! It literally feels like it has been one day since I sent out an email, except it has been a week and now I'm sitting here at my desk typing on a computer and wondering what on Earth actually happened during the last seven days. I know a ton of stuff happened, but now everything in the MTC is blurring together and I don't actually know what was this week or last week or next week or anything haha. All I know is that my time in the MTC is almost done! Next week is my last week that I will spend in the MTC, which is just insane to me! At the end of next week, I will have been a missionary for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, which does not feel real. I'm so happy for my 9 weeks in the MTC, because they have been awesome. Honestly, at first I was really worried about it and I thought spending two months in the MTC was going to be pretty brutal, but I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
