"УТІНІ" - Старійшина Фецер -- (- Elder Fetser)

Hey everyone! Once again, I have survived yet another week in Ukraine. Once again, it has been a wonderful week. I love this place! Honestly, I would 10/9 recommend visiting. It's not a communist wasteland, despite what a percentage of the American population believes. It's actually the prettiest place, and everyone is always so nice and patient even though my language skills aren't quite on the "fluent" level. IT'S THE BEST! Highlights = - We are running on three week transfer cycles here, so we just had transfers happen, so now I am officially with only Elder Fetzer. We lost Elder Orlov from our companionship, but he's still in Lviv so we get to see him fairly often. It's been super fun with Elder Fetzer! He's a stud of a missionary, and we've been getting good work done! - Our friend Олег accepted our baptismal invitation! He's such a stud, and he's so prepared. He's on date for the end of this month, so please keep him in your prayers! - We have another friend named Файрад who also just an absolute beast. We invited him to pray about baptism during out last lesson, and he said that he would. We're seeing him again really soon, so we will see how his experience was! - My man Ігор is also praying about baptism and praying for help to understand the Book of Mormon. He's an older guy, but he is definitely one of the funniest people I've met in Ukraine. I love our lesson with him! - Another one of friends we're teaching told us that he was going to tell all of his friends about the Book of Mormon and that we might need to send a lot more copies so that he can distribute them. His name is Василь. He's a legend. - Due to some crazy things that happened this week (covid vaccines for the native missionaries, last minute changes to travel plans, a new missionary arriving), Elder Fetzer and I got to have a week long exchange with Elder Prescott! He's an absolute stud, and I loved being with him. He also taught me all about Halo, and let me just say that I have actually never played that much Halo but I've been converted. I'm officially a fan. I have never heard a more in depth story from any video game ever. I love you all so much! Thank you for all the support! I'm so grateful for this time that I have been given to serve the Lord in this very special part of the world. I truly am so lucky, and so blessed. Jesus Christ lived, died, and most importantly, was resurrected for US! He loves YOU! Let Him into your heart, and He will change your life. I promise. I LOVE Y'ALL! NOVEMBER IS WARM HERE

Hey you guys! So apparently I say I will get better at emails and then I turns out I only save 10 minutes to write these emails. Sorry about it. This week is going to be a short email, but this week was pretty great! I'll just hit the highlights! - We have had some awesome member meals this week, which has been great! We got fed by the Gonzalez family on Sunday which was so good! They don't speak English though, so that was quite the experience. I said lo siento a lot. - IT'S NOVEMBER AND 78 DEGREES! I'm loving it. I'm missing the snow, but I'm loving the sun. Since I can't ski, I think I prefer the sun right now. - We found a bunch of new people we're really excited about this week. We're hoping that they keep progressing! We have a ton of meetings set up for this next week, so we're crossing our fingers that they don't fall through. - Our friend Klaus came to church! He wore a Bane mask, so I could understand about 0% of the words he said...

I Knocked My Tooth Out

Hey everyone! The title is completely factual. I was biking down a road pretty fast (because there is no reason to go slow on the Lord's errand) and I was thinking pretty deeply about a lesson we had that night. Next thing I know I was on the ground and missing a tooth. I got thwacked by a pole that had a box hanging of it in the middle of the sidewalk. Said pole had its metal box suspended directly at the head level of Elder Horsley. I'm all good though! I have some bruises, but it doesn't really hurt or anything. It just looks funny. It was absolutely epic. Then a guy ran across the street to "heal" me. He had a skull mask on and it was incredible. I'm all good now! There is no residual damage. Now for other highlights of the week! - Jeffrey is on date! We're so excited for him! He will be baptized at the end of May, so that's super exciting. - Freeman and Cornelius were both super stoked that the Law of Chastity was a thing, so that's always goo...

Тиждень Вісім - Week Eight

Hey Everyone! It literally feels like it has been one day since I sent out an email, except it has been a week and now I'm sitting here at my desk typing on a computer and wondering what on Earth actually happened during the last seven days. I know a ton of stuff happened, but now everything in the MTC is blurring together and I don't actually know what was this week or last week or next week or anything haha. All I know is that my time in the MTC is almost done! Next week is my last week that I will spend in the MTC, which is just insane to me! At the end of next week, I will have been a missionary for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, which does not feel real. I'm so happy for my 9 weeks in the MTC, because they have been awesome. Honestly, at first I was really worried about it and I thought spending two months in the MTC was going to be pretty brutal, but I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
