Добрий День Товариши -- (Good Day Comrades)

Добрий день, HELLO! It was a wonderful week out here in not Russia. Ukraine is actually such a pretty place it's insane. The city I'm in is absolutely amazing, and it's so pretty too. I love being here! There is actually nowhere on earth I'd rather be right now, and nothing I'd rather be doing. BEING A MISSIONARY IS THE BEST! Highlights = - Our boy Олег is so prepared for baptism. I absolutely love that man, and I'm really looking forward to his baptism in a couple of weeks. - Файрад accepted a baptismal invitation! I'm so grateful to be a part of his journey and being able to see him grow his relationship with our Father in Heaven. Please pray for him as he prepares to make this covenant! THANK YOU! - I went on an exchange with Elder Gjoligu this week, and it was hype. Thank you for telling everything that happened in the NBA playoffs Elder Gjoligu. You are a real one. - We've been teaching this guy named Коля, and he is just awesome. He lives in a city about 20 minutes out of Львів called Винники, and it is so pretty. He's also just an absolute stud, and every time we send him any verse from the Book of Mormon he proceeds to ask for the page number so he can just casually read the entire chapter just for fun. Love that guy. - Found out that we will be getting 11 new Ukrainian speaking Elders straight from the MTC in September. There are currently 15 Ukrainian speaking Elders in the mission. 2 of them will be in the office in September. So that leaves 13 of us to train 11 new guys. So, uhhhh..... We will have to see how that goes. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! Thanks for reading my emails, hopefully they are satisfactory and you like them. GO READ THE BOOK OF MORMON EVERY DAY THIS WEEK AND THEN TELL ME HOW YOU FEEL NEXT WEEK! (But I already know the answer, which is that you will feel good because God put that book in your hands so that you could read about Jesus Christ and feel the Holy Ghost and be a lot happier than you would be otherwise.) NOVEMBER IS WARM HERE

Hey you guys! So apparently I say I will get better at emails and then I turns out I only save 10 minutes to write these emails. Sorry about it. This week is going to be a short email, but this week was pretty great! I'll just hit the highlights! - We have had some awesome member meals this week, which has been great! We got fed by the Gonzalez family on Sunday which was so good! They don't speak English though, so that was quite the experience. I said lo siento a lot. - IT'S NOVEMBER AND 78 DEGREES! I'm loving it. I'm missing the snow, but I'm loving the sun. Since I can't ski, I think I prefer the sun right now. - We found a bunch of new people we're really excited about this week. We're hoping that they keep progressing! We have a ton of meetings set up for this next week, so we're crossing our fingers that they don't fall through. - Our friend Klaus came to church! He wore a Bane mask, so I could understand about 0% of the words he said...

I Knocked My Tooth Out

Hey everyone! The title is completely factual. I was biking down a road pretty fast (because there is no reason to go slow on the Lord's errand) and I was thinking pretty deeply about a lesson we had that night. Next thing I know I was on the ground and missing a tooth. I got thwacked by a pole that had a box hanging of it in the middle of the sidewalk. Said pole had its metal box suspended directly at the head level of Elder Horsley. I'm all good though! I have some bruises, but it doesn't really hurt or anything. It just looks funny. It was absolutely epic. Then a guy ran across the street to "heal" me. He had a skull mask on and it was incredible. I'm all good now! There is no residual damage. Now for other highlights of the week! - Jeffrey is on date! We're so excited for him! He will be baptized at the end of May, so that's super exciting. - Freeman and Cornelius were both super stoked that the Law of Chastity was a thing, so that's always goo...

Тиждень Вісім - Week Eight

Hey Everyone! It literally feels like it has been one day since I sent out an email, except it has been a week and now I'm sitting here at my desk typing on a computer and wondering what on Earth actually happened during the last seven days. I know a ton of stuff happened, but now everything in the MTC is blurring together and I don't actually know what was this week or last week or next week or anything haha. All I know is that my time in the MTC is almost done! Next week is my last week that I will spend in the MTC, which is just insane to me! At the end of next week, I will have been a missionary for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, which does not feel real. I'm so happy for my 9 weeks in the MTC, because they have been awesome. Honestly, at first I was really worried about it and I thought spending two months in the MTC was going to be pretty brutal, but I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
