We Stole Our Own Bikes

Hey y'all! What a week it was. I'll just jump straight into the highlights, because we had a really good time! It was a great way to end the transfer. - Our bike lock code stopped working one day so we had to have our Elders Quorum president come help us steal our bikes back from the staircase we locked them up on. We spent 15 minutes with a hacksaw just going to town on that thing. Luckily we were in a pretty sketchy area so it looked normal. - Our new ward mission leader speaks French so we've been taking him to all of our French speaking friends' houses and he just balls out and teaches the whole lesson in French. He is an absolute legend. - Our friend James is literally already a member. He introduces his friends to us and tells them they need to get baptized by proper authority. He hasn't even been baptized yet, but he's so excited! - LINCOLN IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK! LET'S GOOOO! - We just got transfer news, and both Elder Gregerson and I are staying here in South Richardson! We're stoked! We're also getting put in a trio, and Elder Hodges is coming to be with us. We can't wait! This will be a fun transfer... -... But I won't be here for the whole thing because my mission president told me that I'M GOING TO UKRAINE ON THE 24TH OF JUNE!!! I'M SO HYPED LET'S GOOOOOOO! I GET TO JOIN IN ON THE EUROPEAN INVASION! I can't wait to go serve the people of Ukraine! Jeremiah 1:19 = And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. The Lord is with you! Christ is there with you always, please never forget that. I love you all so much, and I hope you have the most amazing week! I love y'all! - Elder Horsley Assorted photos = - Elder Gregerson graduated training so we went to In-N-Out with the zone leadership and other training companionships! - We took a mirror Pic with Lincoln because he's the funniest - Two of the sisters in our district "died" (finished their missions), so we had a funeral - Dr. Seim hooked me up with a good looking brand new crown for my front tooth. He's a good man.

Hey you guys! So apparently I say I will get better at emails and then I turns out I only save 10 minutes to write these emails. Sorry about it. This week is going to be a short email, but this week was pretty great! I'll just hit the highlights! - We have had some awesome member meals this week, which has been great! We got fed by the Gonzalez family on Sunday which was so good! They don't speak English though, so that was quite the experience. I said lo siento a lot. - IT'S NOVEMBER AND 78 DEGREES! I'm loving it. I'm missing the snow, but I'm loving the sun. Since I can't ski, I think I prefer the sun right now. - We found a bunch of new people we're really excited about this week. We're hoping that they keep progressing! We have a ton of meetings set up for this next week, so we're crossing our fingers that they don't fall through. - Our friend Klaus came to church! He wore a Bane mask, so I could understand about 0% of the words he said...

I Knocked My Tooth Out

Hey everyone! The title is completely factual. I was biking down a road pretty fast (because there is no reason to go slow on the Lord's errand) and I was thinking pretty deeply about a lesson we had that night. Next thing I know I was on the ground and missing a tooth. I got thwacked by a pole that had a box hanging of it in the middle of the sidewalk. Said pole had its metal box suspended directly at the head level of Elder Horsley. I'm all good though! I have some bruises, but it doesn't really hurt or anything. It just looks funny. It was absolutely epic. Then a guy ran across the street to "heal" me. He had a skull mask on and it was incredible. I'm all good now! There is no residual damage. Now for other highlights of the week! - Jeffrey is on date! We're so excited for him! He will be baptized at the end of May, so that's super exciting. - Freeman and Cornelius were both super stoked that the Law of Chastity was a thing, so that's always goo...

Hey Everyone! It literally feels like it has been one day since I sent out an email, except it has been a week and now I'm sitting here at my desk typing on a computer and wondering what on Earth actually happened during the last seven days. I know a ton of stuff happened, but now everything in the MTC is blurring together and I don't actually know what was this week or last week or next week or anything haha. All I know is that my time in the MTC is almost done! Next week is my last week that I will spend in the MTC, which is just insane to me! At the end of next week, I will have been a missionary for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, which does not feel real. I'm so happy for my 9 weeks in the MTC, because they have been awesome. Honestly, at first I was really worried about it and I thought spending two months in the MTC was going to be pretty brutal, but I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
