MIRACLES!
Hey everyone!
I hope you had an amazing week! I know we did! I'll just jump right into the highlights:
- We went over to our friend Freeman's house on Tuesday to set up a lesson, and he ended up inviting us in. We got talking to him, and he goes "what did you say people need to do to become a member of the church again?". We told him "you just need to be baptized and be given the gift of the Holy Ghost", and then he said "OK can we do that today?" LIKE WHAT!!! It was so cool! We told him we still had more to teach him, but that he could get baptized in May. He's stoked about it! Please keep him in your prayers!
- We had an awesome lesson with our friend Cornelius on Sunday as well. He's a stud! We taught him the Plan of Salvation, and he was like "wow that was the clearest anyone has ever explained that to me. I really like the way you guys teach, it's very good. There are no holes." It made us feel so good! Then we talked about baptism and invited him to be baptized, and he was like "heck yeah let's do it" so he's going to be baptized in May too! He's such a stud!
- Our friend Danniel is still progressing towards baptism super well. He's making big changes in his life, and the change is huge. We can tell a serious difference in his demeanor, and we asked him what it was. He has been reading the Book of Mormon every day, and that's been the change! He's so cool, and I'm so excited for his baptism.
- We have a lot of other friends who are doing great. God is working amazing miracles in our area. This is His work, and I'm so grateful that He can use imperfect tools (like myself) and still do His work perfectly. I'm trying to be better every day, and that's what God wants for me. I love being a missionary! There is nowhere I would rather be.
I hope you all have the best week ever. Know that I love you, and even more importantly, that God and His Son Jesus Christ love you infinitely more than you could ever imagine!
John 3:16-17 = For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jesus Christ is your Savior! Don't ever forget it!
