Accidental Buzz and EASTER!!!

Hey everyone! I hope you had an awesome Easter! I know I did. I absolutely love being a missionary, and it was so special to be a missionary on Easter. The chance to remember and focus on the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and having every else focus on it too, is an incredible experience. As a missionary I have the amazing priveledge to focus all my thoughts and efforts on studying, teaching, and using Christ's Atonement everyday. Don't ever underestimate the change Christ can make in your own life! The change He has made in mine is incredible, and I'm so grateful for the chance I have to spend two years of my life sharing the knowledge of Jesus Christ with everyone around me. It's already going by too fast, but I'm grateful for every moment I get! These last three weeks have been the fastest three weeks of my whole mission, and this last one was no exception. It's crazy how time flies! We had an awesome week, so I'll hit all the highlights: 1. Our friend Ebony is on date now! She's awesome, and she loves the Gospel and "The Book of Normon" as she calls it. She has a physical copy, so I really have no idea how she doesn't actually know the real name. But she's reading it, and that's what really counts. 2. We have two Nigerian friends named Nkem and Freeman who are progressing super well! We had an awesome lesson with them this week (shout out to the legend Brother Suarez himself for coming with us) and we taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They loved and it and the Spirit was so strong. They're both wanting to work towards baptism, so hopefully we can put them on date soon! 3. We also had an awesome lesson with our guy Jeffrey. He told us he has never been a fan of organized religion, but that he is ALL IN on the Church of Jesus Christ! What a stud that guy is. He's made such huge changes in his life, and it's incredible to see! We're hoping to put him on date soon as well. 4. Our friends Lauren and Danniel both committed to live the Word of Wisdom in their lives with no holdups. It will be a big change for them, but they were so willing to make it. They have such strong testimonies that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that God gives us commandments to bless our lives, so they were happy to make the change. It will take effort, so please keep them in your prayers! As for now, Danniel is on track to make his date to baptized. I love that guy! 5. Conference was SO GOOD! I love the chance that we get every six months to hear from the prophet and apostles of the Lord. I heard the voice of Christ during conference, and I know that as you listen and read what was shared, you will hear His voice too. HEAR HIM! 6. I got an email this week asking me for some visa information so that I can go to Ukraine. It's crazy! The European invasion is happening soon! Shout out to the forerunners @Elder Horsley and @Elder Key. 7. I've been brainwashed by all these Texans. I say "y'all" now. There were a lot more miracles that we saw this week, and it's very evident that the hand of the Lord is in His work. I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ and His infinite and eternal sacrifice, and I'm so grateful that that sacrifice is so personal in reach. Find out what Jesus Christ can do in your life! Read the Book of Mormon! Listen to the Prophet of the Lord, Russell M. Nelson. I promise you that there is nothing in life that will benefit you more. God is mindful of you! Never forget all that Christ has done for you, and if you don't know what He has done for you, start learning. Contact the missionaries! They can and will help you. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World, and even more importantly, HE IS YOUR SAVIOR! (4) ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (5) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:4-5 Jesus Christ is the master healer. Let Him heal you! I love you all so much! Thank you for reading my emails! I hope they do you as much good as they do for me. If not, I still like writing them. Have an amazing week, and remember: GOD LOVES YOU! - Elder Horsley Also I accidentally buzzed my head. Pics attached below.
