СНІГ 🥶 -- (SNOW )
Hey everyone!
So it's 9 degrees over here right now. Pretty epic. Never thought I'd be experiencing weather like this in Texas of all places, this is like some Ukrainian spring type stuff. Pretty excited! It makes for good drifting weather when we're riding our bikes and the rode is paved with only snow. Becuase of the storm, we have been asked to stay inside as much as possible, which is so hard because it's perfect for contacting because everyone is home because of it. When we do have to go out, we make the most of it and stop by a bunch of the people we're teaching because they literally cannot avoid us. No one here has any idea how to drive in the snow, so everyone refuses to leave their house. It's a blessing and a half! It's so fun to bike in too.
This week we had some amazing miracles! I only have time to talk about one though, but it was amazing! We were biking to go knock on the door of one of our friends, and rode past our friend Denise's street. As we were going by, I got the strongest prompting to turn down the street and look for her. So, we did just that, and we were able to catch her at the perfect time and have a lesson! We haven't been able to stop by and teach her in a while, so that was incredible.
I also wanted to share a thought that one of our friends shared with us. She said that when she does the little things in life, like read her scriptures, pray, and go to church, the Holy Ghost is amplified 100x. It's so true! When we do those small things that may seem insignificant, our lives are changed! The simple things matter to God, and that's why he asks us to do them. We show Him we love Him, by keeping His Commandments, and when we do, he pours out more blessings than we can even handle, right on top of our heads. I invite you all to do the simple things! They will change your life!
I love you all! Get in some good skiing and disco skating for me while I'm gone. And whenever any of you put some Pit Vipers on, I hope you think of me. Have the best week ever! And also go read 1 Samuel 16:7 that was my favorite scripture I read this week!
