З Різдвом! -- (Merry Christmas!)
Hey everyone!
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! I know I did. Even though it was really different being on the mission, it was one of my favorites ever. I was playing some Christmas hymns on the piano on Christmas Eve and all of the sudden I was playing Silent Night and I felt like I was getting the biggest hug. Obviously no one was actually physically hugging me, but I'm 100% sure that spiritual hugs are a thing and that one came from Christ. It was one of my favorite experiences of the mission so far. Christmas day was super special too! Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who sent me gifts! You guys are the best! I have the very best friends and family in the whole world. I don't know how I got blessed to know so many cool people, but my friends and family list is literally stacked. The rest of the week outside of Christmas was super awesome too. We taught some awesome lessons and we found some really cool new people who we're really excited about. We also found two people who we're pretty sure are Jehovah's Witnesses, which is pretty funny. They said we could come back over this Wednesday, which we're excited about. They were really nice! We hope it goes well. My new companion is super cool too! I didn't have a lot of time to talk about him in my email last week, but he's awesome. He's kind of awkward, but he's really funny once you get to know him. We've had a really good time these last two weeks, and this transfer is already flying by. We're like a third of the way through, which is psychotic! Time flies out on the mission. I just hit five months last week, so yeah time seems super short out here. I hope you all had an awesome Christmas, and once again, thank you for all your support, gifts, and prayers. I hope you all have an awesome new year! Don't forget to set goals, because God always wants us to be progressing. That's what this life is for! I love you all so much! Have the best week ever!
