Speed Email

ONCE AGAIN A SPEED EMAIL! My time management skills? Down the drain. My bullet point abilities? At an all time high. If you want more information, please feel free to email me, but for the weekly info drop, it's another short list of highlights. FOR THIS WEEK'S STUFF THAT HAPPENED THAT I THOUGHT WAS COOL: - We had such a sick lesson with a guy named Grant this week! He's super cool and really searching, but he said he can't meet again until AFTER CHRISTMAS! That was just kind of the worst. So hopefully he still wants to talk after Christmas haha - Thanksgiving was so much fun! We went over to this awesome member family's house name the Langi's, and it was awesome! They have a little 3 year old daughter named Mia and she didn't disagree when I told her we are best friends so I think that's a strong sign of agreement. - On Thanksgiving some random guy named Muhammed who didn't speak English handed us his phone to talk to his son in Kuwait. So, we did the natural thing and talked to his son for like 15 minutes and took a picture with Muhammed. It was iconic. - We had another great lesson with our friend Klaus and he came to church again! He said he knows the Book of Mormon is true, which is so awesome, and we're going to try and put him on date soon. I love that guy! - Finally, Elder Uchtdorf is a beast. I've read so many good talks from him lately, and I encourage you all to go read some from him if you haven't in a while. - FINALLY FINALLY PRESIDENT NELSON IS A PROPHET OF GOD AND HIS GIVE THANKS CHALLENGE WAS INCREDIBLE! I loved seeing what you all are thankful for, and it really made my day every day. His promise was really true, as I took time to think of what I'm thankful for, I really did feel happier. Do it every day and you will continue to be happier! I love you all and hope you have the best week ever! - Elder Horsley 1) ELDER JENSEN! 2-3) Thanksgiving with the Langi's 4) Our boy Muhammed 5) TEXAS BABY
