BEE LARRY KING

Heyo everyone! Dang time flies on pday! I only have ten minutes to write this email, so it's going to be a short one. But it's all good! I'll just hit the highlights: - We drove all the way across our area in a car and then found out we didn't have the keys. It was iconic. - We had a guy on date to be baptized, but then he canceled it during our next meeting. Turns out he's a Neo-Nazi. Who would've thunk? I promise he didn't seem like a Neo-Nazi. It was quite the debacle. - We met a guy who's going to let me know when the new season of Attack On Titan comes out and tell me whether it's good or not. His name is DaQuarius. He's a beast. - We met a guy who claims he has first edition Jordan 1's. We're trying to meet with him on Thursday. You better believe I'm going to be checking if those bad boys are real. - In our apartment, sometimes it seems like we only speak through movie quotes. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Napoleon Dynamite, and Spiderman into the Spider verse seem to be the favorites. Fantastic Mister Fox also makes appearances. I also get in Ferris Buehler monologues. - Texas is still warm and it's November! That is the absolute move! - Biscuits and gravy is the best breakfast ever. Hands down. - I started reading Jesus the Christ and its AWESOME! I highly recommend the read. I've learned so much already. I love you all! And I have an invitation! Go read Jacob chapter 5 this week! It teaches us so much about missionary work and God's love for us. He truly does love each and every one of us, and He has us each in mind. Never forget that you always have God and Jesus Christ loving and supporting you. Romans 8:38-39! Don't forget it! MY LOVE IS WITH YOU ALL AND YOU ARE THE BEST PEOPLE EVER! Hey you guys! So apparently I say I will get better at emails and then I turns out I only save 10 minutes to write these emails. Sorry about it. This week is going to be a short email, but this week was pretty great! I'll just hit the highlights! - We have had some awesome member meals this week, which has been great! We got fed by the Gonzalez family on Sunday which was so good! They don't speak English though, so that was quite the experience. I said lo siento a lot. - IT'S NOVEMBER AND 78 DEGREES! I'm loving it. I'm missing the snow, but I'm loving the sun. Since I can't ski, I think I prefer the sun right now. - We found a bunch of new people we're really excited about this week. We're hoping that they keep progressing! We have a ton of meetings set up for this next week, so we're crossing our fingers that they don't fall through. - Our friend Klaus came to church! He wore a Bane mask, so I could understand about 0% of the words he said...

I Knocked My Tooth Out

Hey everyone! The title is completely factual. I was biking down a road pretty fast (because there is no reason to go slow on the Lord's errand) and I was thinking pretty deeply about a lesson we had that night. Next thing I know I was on the ground and missing a tooth. I got thwacked by a pole that had a box hanging of it in the middle of the sidewalk. Said pole had its metal box suspended directly at the head level of Elder Horsley. I'm all good though! I have some bruises, but it doesn't really hurt or anything. It just looks funny. It was absolutely epic. Then a guy ran across the street to "heal" me. He had a skull mask on and it was incredible. I'm all good now! There is no residual damage. Now for other highlights of the week! - Jeffrey is on date! We're so excited for him! He will be baptized at the end of May, so that's super exciting. - Freeman and Cornelius were both super stoked that the Law of Chastity was a thing, so that's always goo...

Hey Everyone! It literally feels like it has been one day since I sent out an email, except it has been a week and now I'm sitting here at my desk typing on a computer and wondering what on Earth actually happened during the last seven days. I know a ton of stuff happened, but now everything in the MTC is blurring together and I don't actually know what was this week or last week or next week or anything haha. All I know is that my time in the MTC is almost done! Next week is my last week that I will spend in the MTC, which is just insane to me! At the end of next week, I will have been a missionary for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, which does not feel real. I'm so happy for my 9 weeks in the MTC, because they have been awesome. Honestly, at first I was really worried about it and I thought spending two months in the MTC was going to be pretty brutal, but I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
